Are bad situations sometimes blessings in disguise

I have had my share of them and am currently in another one. It seems in the past when bad situations arose that forced me to make changes it always turned for the better though the initial transition was not always easy. Now I am in situation again which I won't go into but seems will cause to make a move I have been thinking of making for quite awhile. Have you experienced positive after effects following a tough period?

All the time!

I've had plenty of experiences like that. I will spare details, but I will tell you one of my favorites quotes.
"An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great. So just focus and keep aiming."

Yep a lot  
Example: As soon as I started showing I was let go from my job with out being given a reason and then a week later SO was laid off due to a lack of work at his job. I've now started going in a whole new career path and have been accepted to college to become an preschool teacher and SO has been offered an apprenticeship with a great company.

Yes! DH was unemployed for some time and could not find any kind of job. Then to top it off our A/C broke and we had to call our landlord, after already being late on rent. Sucked really bad. Well the A/C tech comes out, is talking to DH, then out of nowhere asks him if he needs a job! His helper was out of town and stopped calling him so DH got the job 3 days later. So that led DH to now be a full time student for his associate in applies science (To basically be a certified A/C tech)

Thank you for sharing that. I myself have come to accept I will never have permanent stability in my life but as long as I have a period of happiness before the next change I can live with it.

I believe that. Sometimes these situation were related to what I would refer to as bad people back then but later on I would realize they were angels in disguise

I always have found my biggest positive changes come from negative situations. I'm naturally an optimist though, so I always manage to find a positive, even where others may not see one.

Probably where the saying "when one door closes another one opens" comes from. The cycle of life
