Those do sound really cool.

My DS was bored of his InnoPad...

I guess my child is very fortunate because I didn't buy either of them myself, he has people that love him and get him cool presents. He has a DSi too and I didn't get that either.

I may have played the waterdrop one.. a few times.. I can't say, LOL. In some levels you had to color yourself certain colors to get through the challenges but the colors only lasted a few min. So I heard or something.. LOL

the iPad offers plenty of games like this too, my son has a few on his. He has exceeded all subjects in school and is meeting the requirement for math (14/18 ) and before I go out an buy a book, we are working on it on his iPad. He is learning names of shapes I didn't even know.

The best part is that you can't use the stylus, you have to do it all by laying the innotab flat and tilting it the direction you want it to go. You have to go to a stove, freezer or sponge to change yourself then do the challange in the alloted amount of time. Super addicting, haha, I had so much fun, lmao

"Cool presents" has nothing to do with love, just to point that out real fast! My MILs got our girls their Innotabs and they love them. There are a lot of games on them and I don't have to worry about them browsing the internet. They have a Wii but that's as far as electronics as it goes for them. My husband is the game nerd so he has Xbox 360 and PS3...but the kids nor myself play on them because, well, they aren't fun for us. But like I said before, I just got a Kindle Fire for Christmas and am still learning how to use it.

I'm still learning things on the Innotab, do you just buy the apps online like you do the free downloads? I haven't browsed it enough to know what the cool games are.. I'd love to evaporate!

My husband got this one, I don't remember what it was called and he's changed out the games since, to my displeasure since I really liked this one, LOL. He never paid for them but I can't say if he got them from a site or downloaded them illegally. LOL

Hmm..might have to look into that second option ;) No, only kidding. But I'll have to look into it. I've only looked at 3-5 and 5-7 age groups though but didn't really browse through them all.

Okay, I wasn't sure how you meant it so I wasn't sure how to word it. Glad you didn't mean it harshly.

Yeah he gets cheap toys/books and other stuff from other people too. He's very fortunate and so am I, we have gotten a lot of help since he was born.

I know how that was. We got a lot of help with our oldest. Mostly because we were young (1  and everyone thought we were going to screw up somehow. But 5 years plus two more kids later, we're doing perfectly fine   Honestly, my girls like books more than toys (unless it's princess or LaLaLoopsy then it's all over ha!)
