re: Maggie Emilia?

I think I'll stick with Maggie Elizabeth. I really like the name Emilia... maybe someday way... wayyyy down the road if I ever have another girl lol

I think it's a beautiful name. And if she doesn't... she can go by her middle name. I've known a lot of people who do that.At least I'm not naming her something like Hadly...

I like Maggie Elizabeth! Emilia seems more like a first name in my personal opinion.

Also I have a cousin named Maggie and she's about 4 years older than me so I definitely don't think "little girl" when I hear it.

My daughter is Margaret Katherine. I call her Maggie (in my defense I have a ridiculous Boston accent so when I say her realy name it sounds like Mah-gret) a lot of times when people ask her name and I say Maggie (again...ridiculous accent so it sounds like May-Gee) a lot of times people think Im sayin Megan. I like Maggie because it is an old school regular name and I didnt hear it very often (of course after I named her that Ive heard it at least 20 other times)

Yep, exactly. Just like when people say that certain names remind them of an old lady such as Ruth or something like that. Obviously they were a baby at one point so it drives me crazy when someone says that. Her name is Maggie, it isn't short for anything.

I hate it when ppl tell me it isn't a real name! Obviously it is! Lots of ppl use it!

I'm not a big fan of Margerat... That's just me. But I love Katherine! I'm naming my little girl Maggie. Just Maggie. And everyone say its just a nickname and not a real name lol

Ehhhhh I don't care too much for it. But she's your daughter.   If you like the name you can make it whatever you want. No one likes my son's name, Christian Alexander, but I don't give a rat's butt. I'm trying to think of uncommon names that won't get him made fun of.

Maggie is cute and I see it as a real name LOTS of people use it as a name and it is a real name. It's your daughter name her what you want
