water breaking ??

ok so im due tomarrow and i have been haveing bh and some small contractions all day....anyways i was getting my 3yr.old out of the.tub i was just standing there waiting for her to stand up so i could put the towle around her and it felt like i had just stood there and peed myself. it wasnt a big gush but it was enough for me to have to change my panties(sorry tmi) my water never broke with my other twi the dr. always had to do it so i dont know what just happened ...any advice plz help....confused

Sounds like it could have been. Your hospital may want you to come in. Other hospitals say to put a pad on & if it soaks in 30 minutes to come in. Call & ask what you should do. Good luck!

I was two days over with my last baby and I this happened to me and kept happening all day. I thought my water broke and I went to l&d and it turns out I had just been repeatedly peeing myself all day. Awesome. Lol

Wait and see of contractions start or get timeable, when is your next appointment??

If it was ur water it shouldn't stop leaking.

its happened to me both times with both pregnancies. If its your water it will keep leaking. if you sit or lay down and get up and it keeps happening then its your water. You can go in a they will check it with a strip real quick...but i know here once our water is leaking we cannot leave. So if you plan to labour at home for a bit i wouldnt go in right away. But totally up to you

Mine broke at home with my daughter and it was only a little bit enough where i had to change like you said you did and then it stopped so I went in to see what was going on and it was my water but there was never any more they say not all women keep leaking depending on where baby is laying...with my daughter her head was so low she stopped any more from comming out...and they said it was a good thing I went in because contractions did not start on their own I had to be induced with her I went 12 hours with no sign of labor so I would call them and see what they have to say...good luck mama

I'd try and rest until contractions start, then i'd get active to keep them coming. After my waters broke it was took 26 hours till i delivered. I had a planned homebirth so i just called my midwife once i was contracting every 3-7 minutes and they were getting really painful.

my water broke on it's own only with one of my 3 pregnancies. i woke up around 3 am with a cramp, went to the bathroom and my underwear was wet. i changed it, put on a pad and did a few squats to see if more would come out-it did. i called the L&D and they said to come in if i filled a pad in an hour. i went in a little over an hour later and there was no question it was my water.
