Old wives tales?

Wasn't sure where to post this, but I wanted to know what kind of old wives tales have you heard about the gender of your baby? I have 3 DS and they *think* this is a girl, but I'm still not convinced, so I was wondering what wives tales others had heard, and if it was true for you.

The ring thing, holding a ring over your belly, was right for me. If it swings back and forth or side to side it's a boy and circles is girl. It was right with all if mine.
And the heartbeat theory, under 140bpm is boy, over is girl. That was right with mine too. I have 1 boy and 2 girls

All of those are just for fun. Every single one I tried said I was having a girl (even the chinese calender)...I had a sweet baby boy.
