DH thinks that my Brother and I are nuts!

My brother (27) came over to visit me and the kids, I was mopping the kitchen floor so all the chairs were in the living room.

My brother shows up and starts playing with the kids pretending the floor is Lava so they have to stay on the Chairs and couches or the "lava monster...Aka my brother" will get them and turn them into Lava babies
(we played this game as kids at my grandma's house all the time)

Well my DH walks in and looks at the kids and my brother and asks me what on earth they were doing. I told him they were playing "Lava Babies" DH looked at me and asked "What on earth is Lava Babies" so my brother explains it to him....DH just shook his head and walked off!!

Lol screw DH. I used to play the smurf outta some lava floor

Haha, I saw something like that on Facebook. "You didn't have a good childhood unless the floor was lava.." lol. I've never played that, but my son does smurf like that all the time.

It's awesome that you're brother is so close to your kids and plays with them! My sister is just starting to "deal with" my Ds, as she puts it.

My kids love their uncles! They're best friends   And their uncles are like, 20 and 18  

Dude I used to play that all the time! Especially in stores. Certain colored parts of the floor were lava and the other part was the rock floor. Going shopping with my Mom was awesome.

My sister is 18 and she's too into her boyfriend lol.

My sister is 17 and way into her b/f too, but her boyfriend loves getting to play with my kids. He babysits kids on the side so he's used to em.

My brother and I use to do that when we were younger, and jump from sofa to sofa. my gramma use to get pissed because we'd ruin the furniture lol. I miss being a kid.

Lucky! Her boyfriend likes my son, but doesn't bother with him.

My sister's boyfriend loves playing with my DS. DS has a guitar he got from my Mom for x-mas. My sisters boyfriend sits there and "teaches" him how to play.

DS is only 2 1/2 lol.
