11 month old wont sit up from a back laying position??

I am starting to get concerned with my 11 month old. She recently started a thing where if i lay her on her back, she won't roll over to a sitting position or anything. She jut lays there and cries until I either sit her up or pick her up. It's only when she is laying on her back=\ I just layed her on her back and she literally wouldn't move for 10 minutes until I sat her up  she just laid there and cried. I ever tried to bribe her with toys. She tries to "crunch" up but she gets know where. He crawls, pulls herself up, climbs the stairs, cruises furniture. I don't know whether to be concerned its something serious or if its a behavior thing that she just knows I will help her up?! Help!

idk but i know they don't really have ab muscles or anything. you said if she's on her back, she won't roll to her side or belly and get up that way? has she ever done it?

Show her to roll over by pushing her to her side. Maybe shes just not thinking about it, Just keep doing that until she does it herself.

Yeah she used to do it all the time. But no she won't roll to her side or belly. She literally lays there like a limp noodle

Maybe take her to see the pedi? That would worry me!

if rolling her onto her side doesn't work to help her remember that she can do it, i'd set up an appt. does she seem fussy otherwise? idk...

I am going to call tomorrow. I hope it's nothing. I can't even think of anything it could be

She gets super stuff when I try to roll her to her side.

i wonder if anything hurts. or what about an ear infection? sometimes that can cause them to be off balance and stuff. and if you think about rolling to your side when you feel off balance, you might get a dizzy feeling and maybe she doesn't like that. idk. this is all just a guess.. see what the dr says, though. good luck!
