5 weeks old just now out of newborn size :(

for the past few days, my LO's newborn sized clothes have been a bit snug on her so today, after her bath, i put a 0-3 month sleeper on her...

and it fits JUST like her newborn sized ones did when she was just born.

i'm glad she's growing and so happy to have a healthy baby...

but it's sad at the same time. i literally spend every second with her and she's growing right before my eyes.

(she was born 7.5 pounds and 19 inches and at 3 weeks weighed 8.2 pounds)

I was so upset when dd didn't fit in her newborn clothes anymore. I cried when I packed them all up to take to the storage unit.

I know what you mean...mine didn't even get to wear all of hers! She fit in them for about a week. She's 6 weeks now.

i'm fighting tears and staring at her and kissing her constantly.

it's gonna be a year of warring emotions. happy she's growing but sad it's happening so quickly </3

At a month old my daughter was JUST starting to fit into her new born outfits... She could fit into SOME 0-3 months but not a lot she's 8 months and she's wears 6 months clothes..

Ds never fit newborn clothes really   my "he's growing to fast" moment was when he was a week old so I was telling his age in weeks not days lol

Yes, yes you are! DS was 9 lbs 8 oz at birth so he didn't really fit into his at all. Maybe a couple things but for the most part he went straight to 0-3 months.

Don't feel bad, I was really sad when my DD grew out of newborn completely, and she was four months  
She's always been very petite lol.

She's 9 months old now and is just starting to fit in her 6 month onesies. They've been long on her for a while now  

My son was never in newborn, and my daughter was 3-4 months old before she was out of them.

I cried when I realized that Abby wasn't going to fit into newborn clothes anymore...She's 7 weeks and is into 0-3 months now.

I bawled the other day after I had said she's a month and a half old...saying it in months just seems like way too much time for me.

Ds took 9-10 weeks to grow out of his newborn clothes. I would hold the bag of clothes with a huge frown and my DH would laugh at me. Ds is 11 weeks and still growing into his 0-3 month clothes.
