Ugh so must've been false labor?

Throughout the day yesterday I was getting contractions, sporadically and last night they were getting really strong but weren't close together and I kept having bowel movements. They were like rolling contractions also, they last a long time but the sharp pains came in waves during that time, it was like a half hour for one with continuous sharp pains. Idk what that means. And all night my stomach felt sick and I went again this morning. But so far today no contractions... I'm going to try going for a walk because that's what I did yesterday. I really want to go into labor naturally instead of being induced because I'm scheduled to be on Wednesday.

Ate you being induced for medical reasons or just because its free your due date? Have to talked to them about stripping your membranes?

Just because its a week past my due date, no medical reasons so I keep thinking about canceling but idk because its so tempting but I hear horrible stories about being induced. Ill ask tomorrow I go back to doctors

Membrane sweeps are quick and easy. If you're already having contractions it might work for you.

I would try to push it off another week.
Try going for a hard walk and then doing some deep cleaning. Also try squats, and sex.
GL!

They stripped my membranes on the 10th of this month and I started having contractions that night. They was strong and long but not regular. I woke up on the 12th having the same contractions. I laid down on my couch because I was still tired and felt a trickle. When I got up I thought my water was leaking and when I checked I was gushing blood. Got to the hospital and they decided to induce me since they didn't know where the blood was coming from and the fact I was 39 weeks and 1 day. I did't want to be induced but I didn't want anything to happen to my son. I've already lost two pregnancies I didn't want to loose another. I know being induced sucked horribly for me and both times I broke down and got an epidural, my sister on the other hand didn't have anything when she was induced. They did numb her before she pushed but that's it. My contractions was manageable until they hooked me up to the pitocin.
Hopefully you go on your own like you want! You'll have a beautiful baby soon though!! The wait is almost over
