i feel bad :(

Sometimes i have to put ds down to go to the bathroom or switch over the load in the washer or get some water and he cries and screams and gets himself all worked up. He is only 3 weeks. I have a Moby but i don't want to put on just to go get s cup of water or reset the dryer most of the time i just stay in bed as I'm recovering from mastitis and trying to keep up my milk Supply. But i.just feel horrible that he cries for those few min. Is this bad for him?
Am i going to lose his trust?.
I already feel stressed as breastfeeding isn't going well so i feel like I'm failing.

I would always put my wrap on in the morning and leave it on all day.

No, when they are that young they forget it in a few minutes, do not feel bad for trying to live your life without holding the baby constantly. He will need to get over that soon enough anyways. Too dangerous to cook while holding a baby! (my sister has a huge scar on her leg from my mom doing it lol)

Do you have a vibrating bouncy chair or a swing? If not might be good to get him to enjoy those so you can have a few minutes to yourself to pee and clean the house

Yeah maybe I should just do that. I used it a lot yesterday and the third piece that you pull up over baby to secure them. It got loose like at the top of his back. Do i need to be tightening it through out the day, and.how do.i tighten just that part?

Yes I have a little vibrating bouncy chair he likes it sometimes but its a fifty fifty chance lol i do use it tho when i have to cook if i do it quick enough it works wonderful plus older ds.does try to help with him when he is in the bouncy seat so that entertains him for a few minutes as well

Do you have a bouncer or a swing? You could always put him in that for those few minutes and if you have a portable swing (they sit slightly lower to the ground) it is pretty efficient.

I don't know, I don't have a stretchy wrap so don't have that issue.

my son will be 5 months old in a few days and ive had to do that with him since he was born to be able to cook dinner for my toddler or get my toddler a bath. my 4 month old has always hated the moby wrap and he barely likes his swing or bouncer. hes a very needy baby and sometimes you just have to put them down to do something but what about getting a mobile for the crib or something like that to get his attention on something.
