Build A Bear Birthday?

Has anyone ever had/or gone to a birthday party there? I was thinking about having my daughter's third there.

It isn't really all that expensive. It's in the mall here, so I was thinking about grabbing a pizza for them in the food court, and then letting them all build a bear. It's around $30 a kid, and she would only have around 6-7 guests.

I usually end up spending so much money on her birthday, and this would only cost me around $200.

My daughter just went to one and had tons of fun.

I have so many build a bears from when I was younger. It sounds like an awesome idea to me!

depends on the kids really, my kids hated build a bear parties.

If you keep it to 6 to 7 kids it is manageable. You go much over that and it gets expensive quick. A Senior Chief that I used to serve with took his daughter and her 15 friends there and it was really expensive. I wouldn't ever do it for my kids because I don't think that the person whose birthday it is should get gifts for everyone else. I'm not judging, it just doesn't seem fair to the birthday child.
