UTI??

I've never had one before, so i'm honestly not sure if what i'm feeling is a UTI or just pregnancy related.. the last few days i've felt a extreme urge to pee but then barely a few dribbles would come out... sometimes it would burn if i didn't drink a lot of water that way... Just wondering if this is a uti or not... i'm debating seeing a dr because honestly i have no idea.

It could be either honestly.
But a UTI can cause preterm labor so I would rather get checked out and it be nothing than it turn into something big.

Sounds like a UTI to me. I've had several. Keep hydrated with water and cranberry juice, until u get checked out.

I constantly had UTI's through my second pregnancy. I would go get it checked out just to be safe. It can cause a lot of problems if it is a UTI and it goes untreated.

Drink plenty of cranberry juice. I get them all the time if I don't use the bathroom enough. It WILL go away.

Do go get it checked. I had a severe kidney infection from a uti that I let go, didn't even know I had it, and was in the most serious pain, shaking and puking. I seriously thought I was dying. Had to have morphine and everything, so DO go get checked.

I had a UTI when I was about 2 months along or so. I knew what it was because I'd had a couple before in my life, but I put off going to the dr. because I didn't want to have to take an antibiotic. WELL, I couldn't last more than 1.5 days before I caved and went and had to have an antibiotic, which then screwed up other digestive tract things that it whacked out of balance... but I read that UTI's can be very dangerous not only for preterm labor but also for birth defects if untreated in the first trimester.
Since then, I have taken half-doses of AZO cranberry tablets every day and drinking plenty of water. If I feel worried about one coming on I increase my tablet and water intake and am fine. The tablets are not that expensive, and really worth it!!! I highly recommend them over cranberry juice because sugar aggravates UTI's so if you are drinking cranberry juice you really need to get the pure no sugar cranberry juice which tastes awful (NOT juice cocktail w/no sugar added which is still like 30 calories of sugar per serving). Ideally you should drink it before bed as it has more time to work uninterrupted. Caffeine can also aggravate or help cause UTI's, so avoid caffeine and sugar if you feel one coming on. Also, if I fall asleep and don't get up to pee fairly soon after sex, this is when I end up having trouble.
* You can find the AZO stuff in the yeast infection supplies area in the feminine stuff aisle in most stores, usually not in the vitamins/pharmacy area. They also have a set of test strips that you could check out if you are really not sure, but I don't even bother with that anymore. I just increase my cranberry tablets for a couple days and I'm fine. The tablets are way cheaper than the test, and give a beneficial result.

I was told after my first pre natal apt that I had a bladder infection - but I didn't have any symptoms?
I just finished my antibiotics and am so angry I had to take them I know they are 'safe' but it still makes me anxious to know I took 'drugs'.
