I never said he was an smurf to you, lol.

My husband was in a local band here since like 13 with his brother..so I'm talking groupie groupie here.. She was obsessed with him since like infanthood lol I dunno, since we have had our first son, he went from being mr.popularity to being a dad and his "friends" slowly dissapated. He is lonely now without all that attention. He would go and hang out with this chick for like an hour.. I had all of his messages back and forth with her. They werent all lovey dovey or anything..they seemed to just hang out. But still, I lost it. She was his stalker, and he indulged her.

What hurts the most..is that not only do they do it to you, they do it to your kids. THAT is what pissed me off the most..that he disrepected our kid doing that.

He has been totally devoted to us, and always calls me on lunch and on the way home, and when he goes somewhere. But, I still dont trust him. I love him, and I stayed because I love our kid(s) I still just feel he is a liar..

Im going to be one of those total nutjobs who stays because I feel my kids deserve their dad..both of us grew up without dads. If our relationship fails and it starts negatively affecting our kids, I will leave though.

My parents weren't married and my dad was wonderful. A smurffy dad is a smurffy dad whether you're married to them or not.

& that's great! I understand because my DH is like that he cheated on me once and never cheated on me. However, don't use your situation to justify OP's SO when clearly he's NOTHING like yours.

Your SO loves you, okay.
Your SO cheated on you once, never again, okay.
Good for you.

Will OP's SO cheat again? By the looks of it, I'm guessing yes.

Yeah i said i knew how she felt til she added more to it, I hope she realises if they do it several times most likely to keep on doing it and giving a scan picture of your daughter to one of the woman he slept with is not ok...at all. my parents got together at 19 then had me and they both cheated on eachother once both as bad as eachother but somehow 20+ years later they still together and happy somehow lol My OH did a stupid thing and he know's that and were moving on with life yeah it was hard to start with but it's getting better.

I feel like I wouldnt be happier leaving, so I stayed. When you love someone enough, you work at it. Relationships/marriages are hard work..regardless of how much you love someone.

OP if you can deal with not being able to trust him and freaking out everytime he goes out the door then go ahead but if it's making you unhappy and your kids can see it then it's not worth putting up with.

What does you being with someone that makes you unhappy, have to do with your child?
