here is a pic of part of dd's room. if they fixed the place up they could easily get 4-500 for the place. so far ive fixed all the minor repairs but i dont have the cash to fix the door.

That's such a cute room! And check Craigslist for a door. Sometimes you can find one really cheap or even free. But if I were you I'd fix it/buy new and take it out of my next months rent with a letter saying "we moved in ____ months ago and you had promised to fix the door, since you have not I did it for you. I took (amount) out of the rent for said repairs. It needed to be fixed immediately as my daughter gets in there and could get hurt. Thanks"

Something if that sort and send a "receipt" for proof with a pic of the old door and a pic of the new one.

Just when I thought I had the most expensive rent on BG lol. I pay $1250 with heat and hot water included. Betcha your apartment or house is way bigger than mine though.

Its 1300 sq ft and a 2/2 lol

we pay for gas electric and water. our water is 55 our electric was 176 for like 4 months lol. thats how long we got by with not paying since it was so low. our gas is 180 some for the same span of months lol. its not too bad here

I have never heard of rent for ANYTHING that cheap.

I have no idea what square foot mine is but it's smurfing small. The bathroom can't fit a regular sized tub and I can't fit a bed bigger than full size in either of the bed rooms.

I would die for a king! lol. I sleep with DS and DH. DH is 230lbs and DS is over 20lbs at 7 months, plus he's wiggly. I'm skinny but all of us on a full size is really tight and uncomfortable.

I lived in Maine for a few years and there are places there that low. I also lived in SC and there are towns there that are the same. Most of the time it's in really small towns or bad neighborhoods but its out there.
I paid $1200 for rent here plus $250 for electric, $50 for gad and $140 every three months for water and sewer. I had a two brd three bath apartment.
It's pretty pricey especially when you consider food and gas for the cars. But it's all comparable to the income in each area. Rent was cheaper in SC but DH made less money there. Here he makes more but cost of living is higher.

we had a queen my uncle gave us the money for christmas to buy a bed. I got a deal on it because it was cash, told em take it or leave it lol. it was 1000 in cash so they worked with me haha u get better deals with cash... My son, me and im big my daughter and DH all end up in bed and guess who got kicked out when it was a queen....Me so i said its time to upgrade. I had the coke accident lol. But we have a water proof mattress pad on it now lol

I just bought a king for $1000 and its a pillow top.
$1000 for a queen isn't that good of a deal. Lol

no its a king pillow top, they were trying to get more out of me i said take it or leave it because i can go somewhere else it was not as nice of a bed but it was cheaper lol.

I can afford it, I just don't have the room. And I can't afford a bigger apartment. I don't think there are any bigger apartments in this neighborhood anyway lol.
