Which is better?

posted 27th Jan
Which is better for you... Nutella or Peanut Butter? Comparing the two jars right now they have the same calories per serving, the same fiber, cholesterol and iron. However peanut butter has a lot higher sodium and protein. Nutella has lower sodium, more calcium but higher carbs and sugar? Looks like they both have pros and cons. But which one do you think is better for you, and why?

Peanut butter, mainly because of the protein.

Nutella still has protein, just less... However it has calcium which pb does not and it has a LOT less sodium. But... It has quite a bit more sugar and carbs. Im on the fence.

Neither.
We use soynut butter since one of the kid's in my daughter's daycare has a peanut allergy. It's way better for you than either of those.

I would say it depends on the individual. The peanut butter would be better for a diabetic, due to the protein content, but since it's high in sodium, it probably wouldn't be a good option for someone who retains water. Personally, I like them together.

Look into PB2, it's a powdered peanut butter that doesn't hve the fat and I think less sodium, but still the protein and such. Has less calories to. You just add water to it to make it spreadable.

My mom uses this alot. I like it if your looking for a healthier option to PB or nutella. Personally I love nutella!
