Stopping Pulmicort
posted 27th Jan
LO was prescribed Pulmicort 2x a day for Pneumonia & Bronchiolitis. He was wheezing pretty badly. Well, now his wheezing is totally gone and he just has a mild cough. I dont know how long his doctor wanted him on it for. Its a preventative treatment for Asthma but we don't even know if he is asthmatic. Should I stop the medicine since he is better. Im tempted not to give it to him today at all because it's a steroid and it has a lot of possible side effects. I can't ask his doctor until tomorrow. WWYD?
