literally almost cried.

DH and I went to walmart earlier. as we were walking by the card isle, one caught my eye. it was a felt baby elmo holding a 1. inside it said "hi baby, you're growing so fast, i can't believe you're one already." i almost teared up. DD is only 8 months old but it still seems too close for comfort...

I know that feeling mine just turned 1 today and I spent most of it crying.

Aw! My son got that card for his birthday! It was his favorite cause it was fuzzy! I have a pic of him carrying it around lol. It is emotional when they turn one, o man.
The night before my son's birthday he woke up just after midnight (so technically his bday) and needed to be rocked back to sleep..and i sat there in the dark rocking him in the rocker and just sobbed and sobbed. he's 15 months now...where is the time going!!?!?! =(

For sure. My DH finally agreed to start trying for our second in June!

our goal is to make it till DD is pt'd 1st. i don't want to in diapers. and more importantly, DH to have a job.

Haha, that's what we said too.  

First I said I wanted DD in preschool first
Then I said well, we can try when she's PT'd
And now it's like her second birthday is a good time
