Staples or stitches & strips after csection?

My doctor is recommending staples. I had strips with my first csection and really wanted them this time also. Please give me opinions, advice and stories on this. I don't know what to do! Thank you.

I had staples an strips.

I had 17 stamples all 3 times... Lol they did not bug me..

I got stitches and strips and have had no problem at all with healing

I had staples with mine. They were fine. I was terrified to have them removed but I didn't even feel it, and I had to wait a couple days later than my doctor wanted to take them out too. After they were removed I got steri-strips.

With my first I had stitches and staples. Then when the staples came out I had to get strips on.

The repeat was stitches and strips.

Given the choice, I would not have stitches, because they left scars. The staples irritated my skin and itched, but didn't leave lasting marks.

I had staples the first time and one popped. Worst pain of my life, even to this day.
I had strips with the second. No problems.

I had staples with mine 12 years ago. They removed them a few days later before I left the hospital and replaced them with the butterfly strips. I was convinced my guts were gonna fall out LOL

I've had staples twice and they were nothing. Didn't even feel it when they took them out. they put the strips on after the staples come out.

I, no smurf, had 33 staples in my stomach after my c-section. (I had an emergency c-section so they cut me from my belly button down). I actually had no problem with them what so ever. I couldn't wear jeans until they came out though. I was scared of having them removed but it didn't hurt a bit.

I just had a c-section 16 days ago. I had staples and stitches. When they took the stitches out I was in so much pain from my skin starting to grow over them and they left nasty marks, The staples were nothing to come out after they took them out they put on the steri strips and they fell off after a few hours but i'm pretty sure that was from me having an infection from my c-section.

I've had staples three times, first was my cesection, didn't feel it at all when they removed them. Second time was in my leg (42 of them) They were painful to remove but they were also covered in gunk and nastiness which I think made it worse. Third time was from my bellybutton up to my breast bone (32 staples) those hurt like hell but everything did, it was a horrible surgery. So I think if you just make sure to shower before hand to rinse off any gunk from the staples, you will be fine. They only leave them in for a few days.

I think I had staples, stitches, and strips. Lol. My dr. never gave me any options.
But I healed perfectly, and was up and moving like 12 hrs. after surgery. They never even really hurt.(:
