Getting ready for my baby boy

posted 26th Jan
My name is Brandy & I am 22 wks pregnant w/ my first child. After 20 wks, I finally found that I'm having a BOY! Yay! So, obvi I have bunch of questions abt being a first time mom, but I know that I will learn everything I need to learn in time. Although my son's father isn't in the picture, I have a lot of ppl in my corner, so I know that I'm going to be okay. I have a lot of things that have been bothering me, but the biggest one is I worry a lot abt his future. He isn't even here yet & I worry abt what school he's going to go to & if the other kids are going to accept him or pick on him. I never knew what it was like to love someone so much. The craziest thing is I haven't even met him yet. I just really hope I can stop stressing abt his future & focus on the present & what needs to be done. I can't wait until May! Does anyone else have this problem or am I just crazy? I don't need any rude ppl doing what they do best & being rude to me, so if you're going to be rude, just don't even bother, okay?

Yup, its called being a mom..lol. The worry never goes away. You love him =) And if you think you havent loved someone so much, just wait until he's in your arms. It's pretty amazing. And when they get old enough to run up and give you a hug? melts your heart. Congrats!

Thx for giving me so much to look forward to! I was told my instincts would just kick in by a really good friend of mine & I guess she was right. How many kids do you have & how old are they? I'm always seeking advice & I love hearing abt women's personal experiences. I feel like it will make me a better mom. So, if you have any advice, I'd love to hear it.

Quoting Brandy Modica:" Thx for giving me so much to look forward to! I was told my instincts would just kick in by a really ... [snip!] ... abt women's personal experiences. I feel like it will make me a better mom. So, if you have any advice, I'd love to hear it.  "

I'm a mommy to an amazing 15 month old little boy. So i'm fairly new at the whole parenting thing. It's a big life change, but once you get in the swing of things, it gets easier..in a sense. Thinking about trying for baby number 2 sometime in the near future.
