Is it crazy

That we have put our baby in his crib in his own room from day one? Every time we say this everyone is shocked. I don't understand what is so strange about it? We have the angel care monitor and his room is right beside ours so we can hear him regardless.

Whatever works best for you. I'm personally far too lazy to get up in the middle of the night and walk to another room to feed him so he's been in our room since birth. He sleeps through the night now and is a really settled baby so it doesn't really bother us. Plus I don't like having him too far away, nervous first time mum and all

My son ended up having to be formula fed so I have to go to the kitchen anyways lol. He sleeps roughly seven hours a night so its not to bad  

It's only crazy to me because I have anxiety about sleeping when my baby is too far away and anyways I'm too lazy to get up and go that far to get my baby in the middle of the night lol. But if it works for you, great  

Haha I breastfed for the first 4 months, I didn't want to get up and walk to the other room just to bring him back into the bedroom anyways LOL

He didn't have his own room til he was 8 months, because once he started formula I kept it in the bathroom with his bottle cleaner lol And his "room" has a slider in it, and we were constantly using it for our dog that was inside at the time.

But I don't think it's weird or crazy, I know plenty of people who do it lol

Yikes I've got a great respect(and maybe a little bit of jealousy lol) for woman that breastfeed!

I was hell bent on it, I've had a few people try and tell me to suppliment because "he wasn't gaining weight" (turns out their scales were broken  ) I'm so thankful we've been able to do it. I want to EBF for at least a year, but we'll see how we go when he starts getting teeth lol

Off the subject but my little boys name is Blaze as well  your only 1 of 2 people I know with a baby named Blaze and your the only one that has a boy lol

Neat! I love his name. I come from a town that everyone that lives here pretty much smokes weed though, so every time we tel people his name they laugh and say "I wonder why that is". We're always saying no we saw it in a newspaper awhile before I got pregnant and decided to keep it in mind. Does this happen to you a lot?

No I just always get strange looks when I tell people his name people tell me it sounds like a dogs name   I absolutely love it!!! His full name is Blaze Hunter Allen Pippin lol he has 2 middle names cause me and my DH fought about either naming him Blaze or Hunter and Allen is a family name, so I get even stranger looks when I tell people his full name lol but I don't care he only 3 months old but it fits him lol

Yeah his name is Blaze Eli, but Blaze totally fits him as well!!
