Rash on chest- food allergy?

My two best friends, one of who is allergic to chocolate, the other, shellfish, both get this rash on their upper chest, stomach and neck area if they eat what they are allergic to.
I've suddenly gotten a similar looking affliction, but I haven't eaten anything new.

Can it be from something besides a food allergy?

Did u switch to a new soap or perfume ?

Is there a picture? Also, you can develope an allergy at any time to something

It could be anything! My son is allergic to a few things and the rash he has developed from each of those things have been totally different

could be something you ate, new medication?, laundry detergent or cleaning supplies

so hard to say I guess you just have to try and figure out if there is anything new you have tried or done!

I don't have a camera that works. But it's fairly colorless. No redness, but a lot of little tiny hives.

And you know what, it just occurred to me, I did have one new item today, and it was Food Lion brand "kool-aid." I usually don't buy generic drinks, and I thought it tasted nasty.

I wonder what's in it that's so different than the real kind. I guess it wasn't worth saving 2 dollars if it's nasty AND made me break out.

You should compare the ingredients and see! probably some chemical they used
