Went to my first NA meeting

This morning I went to my first NA meeting. I shared, and it felt pretty good. I still had a sub today, but at least I wasn't scrambling around for more. One day at a time I guess. I opened up to BD about me doing this and he's being so supportive. I think this may be the start of something new. Something tells me I need to fall on my ass first before I can really except NA and get better.

Good for you, OP.   And sometimes it's true. A lot of addicts have to hit rock bottom before they're truly ready to stay clean. It's hard work, and you never get to retire from it.

You've taken a huge first step.

Not yet, I'm too nervous to ask for a sponsor yet because I know I'm probably going to use again and I don't want to have to admit that to someone and be a disappointment.
