i would. boobs are for feeding babies. i don't want my child thinking that nursing is something that needs to be hidden.

IMO it would be awkward.. That's just me though.

Yes!!!! I would never not breast feed in front of any child of mine no matter the age. I breast fed my son in front of my cousins and now my 9 year old cousin knows there is something other than formula for babies and I'm confident that if she ever had k kids she will for sure consider breast feeding rather than just formula feeding out of family normality. I think exposing children to breast feeding is a great thing and should be done more. They need to know that breast are not just sexual things. Bottles are not the only way to feed a baby.

Don't feel bad, I didn't BF in public either. When/if I had to feed when we was out, I would always go to the bathroom or stay in the car. I think feeding if natural and beautiful, but there's a lot of perverted men out there that get turned on my something like that. I'm not going to be the one to help fuel something like that. I do know that having to do a bathroom run or stay in the car while everyone else went in to do whatever, wasn't any fun! So this time around I'm diffidently getting a feeding wrap! I think it's going to make things a lot easier! Anyone have one? Are they easy to use?

Each to their own, right? I BF in public once, and got a lot of attention which I didn't want.

hardly anyone noticed me in the 2 years i breastfed in public, it just looks like you're cuddling your baby and there is no boob on show. Unless you use a big tent/feeding thing, you might aswel hold up a sign with some of them. Nursing in a sling, wrap or other baby carrier is a discrete hands free way to bf as you're out and about doing other things.

How is it perverting a natural act? If you're yelling at someone else for doing it, that's one thing, but if you simply make a choice based on you feel, it's quite different. There are plenty of natural acts that we are uncomfortable doing in public for our own reasons. How are you helping the breastfeeding cause by putting down women who want to breastfeed their own way? My body, my choice, right?
