Quoting A is Me:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Maria + Cory = Alexis:</b>" SO thinks she just hates her bed. ... [snip!] ... rolling over or her suffocating in your bed. SIDS is an unexplained infant death and usually occurs when babies are in a crib."I actually did talk to her pediatrician about that today and he said the same thing that you are saying. Since I am a very light sleeper and wake just about every time she moves it would be okay. However SO is a very heavy sleeper and sometimes rolls over on me. So I would not allow her in the bed if SO was with me. But on nights he works until 4 am, I could let her sleep with me until he gets home.
Quoting A is Me:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Maria + Cory = Alexis:</b>" I actually did talk to her pediatrician ... [snip!] ... if you have any hesitation about that, you know best. Trying to do it some nights but not others would be difficult, i think."I sleep on the edge of the bed. There really would be no room for her beside me. SO usually ends up in the middle of the bed. You'd think a Queen Size bed would be big enough for us but nope.
Quoting Maria + Cory = Alexis:" Last night I brought my daughter home and she refused to sleep during the night. She cried and cried ... [snip!] ... I was worried I was doing something wrong. She is my first child and I love her so much. I just want to be a great mom to her. "this sucks i know trust me, but some babies just get their nights and days mixed up. my DS barely slept in the day and night as a newborn. he still wakes loads at night and is now 9 months, you just get used to it but the first few weeks are very hard, hang in there just try sleep when she does.
