Quoting Miracle_Mommy 2012:" What I am worried about my list of cons -Leilani won't get as much one on one time...the pro to that ... [snip!] ... cause baby#2 to be born prematurely -I'm trying to finish my bachelor's degree and doing that with 2 kids would be a handful"
Quoting ~The Lunar Flower~:" <blockquote><b>Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:</b>" Yeah I am. 4 pregnancies in 2.5 years."</blockquote> Holy smurf! I wouldn't have been able to handle that"
Quoting ~The Lunar Flower~:" <blockquote><b>Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:</b>" One was a tubal and I only ... [snip!] ... I was in a bad place in life. I don't mean to pry but what made you decide to keep this baby since Rory is still so young?"
Quoting ~The Lunar Flower~:" <blockquote><b>Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:</b>" <blockquote><b>Quoting ... [snip!] ... Ew lol my ideal time to have a 2nd is when my 1st is out of diapers so he is hopefully on a better sleep schedule."
Quoting ~The Lunar Flower~:" <blockquote><b>Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:</b>" I wanted him to be 3 when the ... [snip!] ... about it because he wants our babies 2 years apart or less. Because his sister is only barely 2 years younger than him -.-"
Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:" Okay, so, let me get this right. You have a high needs baby. You have a track record of being very sick ... [snip!] ... Yet you're not going to prevent a pregnancy, because mommy and daddy will step in and rescue you. Yup. Spectacularly mature."No I don't plan on having my parents come to my rescue all the time, but I know they are there for me when I really need them. Like if one of my kids was in the hospital they would be able to watch the other one if I needed them to. If Leilani wasn't getting enough one on one time and felt jealous of the new baby Grandpa and Grandma wouldn't hesitate to spend some one on one time with her. I never expected her to have my parents wrapped around her finger the way she does. I do love seeing them interact with her but I don't expect them to do everything for me or come to my rescue all the time.

Quoting I'm His Amy He's My Rory:" FFS. It's not your parents' job to spend one on one time with your kid "I never said it was. However even if I don't have another baby my parents will still want to spend one on one time with her. That is what granparents do, at least in my family. My grandma babysat me when my mom worked and my mom has pretty much begged me to be able to babysit Leilani when I go back to work. She is bored out of her mind all day at home anyways. She broke her leg 2 years ago and has work restrictions and has a hard time finding a job and can't do the kind of work she used to do so she is applying for disability. I think it's nice that she wants to babysit for me when I go back to work and I would pay her of course.
