Scared for a dumb reason

I've mentioned before that my mom sucks. Just had to put that there.
She's convinced I'm going to die during child birth. Say's she's got this "feeling"
I hate it. I know she's just trying to start drama, or make me nervous, and want her around. But at the same time it freaks me out. Health wise I'm ok, I mean my doctor hasn't told me I'm going to die I shouldn't be worried. But someone straight up telling you you were going to die, or something terrible were going to happen during birth just I think, Idk would freak anyone out. I don't know why a mom would tell their daughter this.

Why on earth would she say that to you?!

It scared me like I went numb eating ice cream out with my SO.
I called to tell her happy birthday cause I figured my other two sisters hadn't.
And then she tells me that say's my sister and her have had this "feeling" since I was 6 mo. And didn't want to tell me. Totally ruined my ice cream  !

Does she have a mental problem?


That is weird, rude, odd.... wow.


Maybe she has a few screws loose.
In that case, you can chalk it up to crazy and ignore it.

Wow. You will be FINE ok? Don't listen to her and honestly I don't think you should even talk to her anymore. Don't call her and if she calls you, ignore it.

I called my eldest sister, and told her and she said that they have been "altered" for a very long time now, and not to listen. I guess it just freaked me out a little to have my mom, and my sister (Yes they both have issues with both 'mental' issues/excuses. and drugs) But even though I know they're crazy someone tells you that it's gonna make your mind race a little bit. Lol just freaked me out I guess. I'll chalk it up to her being her usual self. Like I said she sucks. She's never really been the ideal mom or even close to a good one at that.

What do you mean? That they're like right or something o.o?

You'll be fine....don't get me wrong some parts of labor make you feel like you're dying lol but hospitals are well equipped to deal with anything and they monitor you so close you'll get sick of it.

"Real" or not, why would she say something like that to her nervous daughter who's expecting?

My friend just had her baby last night, she went all the way to 6cm, and they did a c-section the placenta started to detach or something   She didn't seem to have too much of a problem she didn't even get the epi until the c-section.
