Im 27 weeks along and I have a anterior placenta. I didnt feel anything at all until I was 23 weeks. But by 24 weeks I was feeling full kicks. My midwife still has a hard time finding and hearing her heartbeat so I get a ultrasound every 2 weeks. Im a high risk pregnancy as it is from a incompetent cervix. The plus side is I get to see her a lot...

It took my dr a little longer to find my daughters heartbeat because of her anterior placenta. I did feel movements starting around 18 ish weeks, but I never felt consistent movement until after 24 weeks.

Awww!!! It's a great day to be born!!   I'm really excited to have a September baby. Both mine were spring and summer babes. I hope your anterior placenta doesn't cause too much stress for you!! I know it did for me but my anxiety goes through the roof while pregnant. And it didn't help that none of my friends had anterior placentas before so everyone thought I was over reacting... maybe I was but who cares!! lol

If you had an anterior placenta, when did you feel the baby move? Did it effect your pregnancy at all?"</blockquote>

Had it with both and I felt dd at 18wks and DS at 13wks (I became more in tune wit my body) I think it depends where the baby sits.
