has anyone tried this?

Has anyone used primrose oil capsules to help soften the cervix? I was told it works and helps progress labor

I did. Started off with 2 capsules inserted vaginally ever y night at 36the weeks. 37 weeks i moved up to 3 capsules. I delivered at 39the weeks but my labor went extremely fast and i only had needed 1 stitch.

I did and my labor was 2 hrs long. I think it really helped. I think i just did one at night after 37wks

Thank you for your response   I'm considering using a doula this time around, and trying to avoid getting induced. I tend to go into labor early, but my cervix doesn't like to dilate to 3 cm. Once my body reaches 3 cm, labor usually progresses quick. She mentioned trying 4 primrose capsules every night from 36 weeks

Thank you 2 hours of labor would be a blessing! Or anything close to that
