what should I do?......

This is my 3rd baby and I didn't expect to get pregnant again this soon so needless to say I gave away most of my baby stuff. So I'm going to have another baby shower.... kinda. So my question is should I have a legit baby shower and when or should I have a meet the baby party where family and friends can meet the baby and bring the stuff I need like diapers, bottles, blankets etc.?

DD's birthday is 8 days after I have this baby, so I'm doing a meet the baby party at the same time.

I would wait and see if someone wants to throw you a shower. I think it's tacky to throw your own.

Sorry I did leave out my mom or sister wants to throw one for me, of course I wouldn't throw one for myself lol, but they want to know when and how and I cant seem to decide what would be best I really need a breast pump before I have the baby and thats why I'm torn.

I wouldn't rely on people to buy you stuff just because you accidentally got pregnant again. So I would buy all your own things, and when people come to meet your baby I'm sure they will bring outfits and such.

I dont rely on it but they know my situation, there are alot of ppl in my family that are way better off than me financially, due to my hubby losing his job and us living in a basement with his grandmother. And its a excuse to get together since my family don't get together as often lol.

A breast pump is one of those personal items that most people are not going to go there.

I would buy what you need, and expect clothes and the like as gifts from people generally. Expecting people to furnish you with the supplies you need is generally unrealistic.

If your mom and sister want to throw you one and you are tight on cash, let them do it before the baby is born so you get a good idea of what you will need to buy.

ty hun and my family is the type to ask me too what I need, my mom is aware of me needing a pump since my nipples are inverted, but she did mention that is something she may buy. For income all we can really do is sell stuff lol, like my jewelry and my artwork, but I will have a job at the end of march so hopefully by then the family will not need to help out as much cus I hate having ppl see what a hard time we are having.

If ur mom wants to throw u a shower let her. Im sure ur family and friends want to pamper u and shower ur new little bundle of joy with love and gifts. Expected or not.
