TTC update

So I just wanted to update everyone on what's going on. I've made quite a few posts complaining about my roommate, well good news: SHE MOVED OUT! THANK THE LORD!  

So now I'm living with a close friend of mine, same place but different roommate. My gf is going to continue school on April 22nd in vocational training. She has applied for financial aid and student loans and is waiting on a reply. If she is accepted, she will work part time until she is finished with school, and then quit her job and start her career with a new job. She is going to school to be a carpenter, finishing her studies and getting her final credits to graduate.

Since everything is in good working order, we have decided to resume TTC. We have a donor  

The first try was last month since our TTC "break", with a negative result. We tried again this month, now it's just the 2ww.....testing on the 7th.

We have enough in our savings that we will be able to afford a baby, and she will have graduated by the time the future baby is born. She is guaranteed a job as a carpenter since they are in high demand here.

Oh and we've also started working out together   we both started out as 5 ft 4 and 185 lbs.....our first day at the gym was yesterday. We know a personal trainer that works there and she is drawing up a fitness and diet plan for us.

I would wait until you can afford to live by yourselves before TTC. Being pregnant or having an infant with a room mate is no fun at all.

There is also no way to save for a baby....just FYI. Anything can come up.

and JessieLeeAnne, our roommate is living with us because he has nowhere else to go, it's a temporary thing. I couldn't afford to live by myself but now that SO moved in, we're fine. But I know what you mean when you say anything can come up. I'll re-visit the topic if I'm not pregnant this cycle though. You can never be too careful!
