I only have half a cup of pancake mix.

Normally for one cup you put 3/4 cup of water.

So how much would I put for half?

I can't figure out what math skill I need :/

You don't need to measure it. Just add the water a little at a time until you get the consistency you want.

I never measure pancake mix to water ratio, i just mix it untill i get theright thickness
