Is it constant? And try taking a flash light to them and see how they react. If one doesn't I'd call the pedi to be safe but if they both react I'd wait and see if the other goes back to normal.

I don't know, but I've always heard that when that happens it should be checked out. Does her pedi's office have a weekend number you could call?

Is this new? She hasn't been playing pirate, has she? If you shine light in it, does it constrict? If it's not reactive to light, I'd get her checked out. Could indicate neurological damage, or it could be nothing at all.

pedi closes at noon. I'm gonna try to get my hubs to take her somewhere. I'm very upset.

I would call her pedi, sometime it can be caused by pressure behind the eye or other issues but I'd give them a ring to be on the safe side. They should both react to light.

I called her pedi, he said go to the er. before doing that I thought I should call her eye doc just in case (she had her eyes dilated a week ago) and he said that some people it'll stay that way for a week and sometimes longer. I guess I just didn't notice until today which I feel really terrible about. my eye sight isn't the best either. her eyes are darkish so maybe that's why I didn't notice. I was cuddling her and the sunlight hit just right, that's when I noticed. I didn't think they could stay dilated that long

We use the dilating drops on my youngest to strengthen a weak eye. Her eye will stay dilated for a few days if I forget the drops. Did she have both eyes dilated? It's weird that one would stay affected so long and the other wouldn't.
