Echogenic bowel

Anyone have any experience with this?

Apparently this showed up on my son's 20 week ultrasound and now I have to see a perinatologist for a follow up scan. I've been doing research and it could be nothing, but it could also signify an issue. I guess I'm just looking for some personal experiences.

It's OK   I stumbled across a couple other forums that had people with similar experiences. Luckily the majority of them had good outcomes, so I'm staying positive. Will no more on the 12th when I have my appt.

my son was showing echogenic bowel at my anatomy scan, i had a follow up scan 1 week later with my high risk dr and everything looked fine and completely normal then. he said sometimes it could just be caused from the baby not swallowing for a while (or something along those lines, i can't remember exactly) good luck and hope everything turns out ok!!
