re: Second day with DSLR

I know a couple great photographers who started to shoot with just point and shoot. Being said that, I don't see the big deal that she already have a watermark.

I don't see anything wrong marking her own images.

Awesome, Thanks! I'm really trying to get the hang of using the 50mm 1.8 I have but I can't find a happy medium setting with it. I can get okay pics with the 35mm in low light but with the 50mm they are just horrible and it makes me feel like I'm regressing instead of progressing. Everything just seems grainy with this lens no matter how much light and how low my ISO is

According to everything though, you don't want the pancake lens. It sucks apparently. It's on the list of Nikon's 10 worst lenses.

And what exactly is the problem with the 50? Can you post a pic from either PB or tinypic so I can see the settings?

I apologize for my previous comment then. I often see people using watermarks on their brand new DSLR pictures to build a business portfolio.  

It just comes to a point where you assume people who do that are wanting to start a business the day they learn how to push the button.

I couldn't find any info when I uploaded to PB, I can pull it from the raw file if you need it. This is 50mm 1.8 with windows wide open and well lit room
