So, okay we all know that everywhere we go there is that slight chance that you might get hurt or something may happen to you. If we are pregnant sometimes we have to be extra careful well because who wants their b to et hurt, right?
Well, here is this question..if a pregnant woman puts herself in a riskier situation like a crowded club or a crowded concert and God forbids something happens to her like she gets pushed, shoved, gets caught in between a fight etc. and she loses her baby. Do you think she has the right to blame the place and file a lawsuit against them or, is it her fault for putting herself out there knowing the risks?
Just something I saw on Facebook, wanted to see other's opinions.

I would say if you're going there knowing the potential to get hurt you should def not be able to sue. If it was the careless of the facility (suck as breaking capacity regulations, not putting up wet floor signs, etc) then of course that is a lawsuit.

I think it's unfortunate, but unless the act was malicious I don't think it's worthy of any kind of court action.

I agree to this

well even if you aren't pregnant & get seriously injured, pretty sure you can still go after the person responsible. I know I would, I mean if I got some broken bones or some smurf...

I would find it a little odd that a simple push or shove could make her miscarry, tbh. Is her uterus made of glass?
If she suffered severe physical trauma, the kind typical needed to cause a miscarriage, duh the people in charge of the event are responsible, and would be even if she wasn't pregnant or the pregnancy survived. You don't go to a club or concert to get the smurf kicked out of you.

Unless you purposely go in a mosh pit. I went to a concert when I was 10 wks preg with dd1 and as soon as they started noshing I had the sexuality guys pull me out of the crowd and I stood on the side by the door. It wasn't a big deal. But if I had purposely stayed in and m/c I think that would be my own fault.

I still think if you get seriously injured in a mosh pit its a liability of the venue. But I think they should be controlled anyway, people should not be allowed to punch and kick people down just because it's a mosh pit.
