Typing speed?

Have you ever used an online site to check your typing speed? I used to use mavis beacon (?) in school that gave us lessons and kept track of our speed and accuracy. I'm going for a job interview as a receptionist soon so I wanted to check mine, just in case they ask. I tried two different websites, three times. It ranged from 90-106wpm. That can't be right lol

If you've checked yours, what is it??

I had to take a document processing class where we had to type all. the. time. and it clocked me out at a max of 81 WPM

My avg is 65, during typing classes is get around 75

Mine is 110.

damn, you're fast   i just did two tests 'n got 80. but i got annoyed cos two of my keypads are popped off so that was a pain  

60 but that's copying things. I type very fast if I am not copying something.

That would definitely screw up anyone's speed! lol

they're weird little like, rubber nubbins in the spots where the key is off   haha

I'm not very good at copying either. The first website I used gave me the most random sentences that had words I'd never even heard and the sentences didn't make sense, that made it way harder. I did typingtest.com and it gave me a way higher result, but I'm sure that's because the stuff you copy came straight from books, like the wizard of oz lol

IDK what that first one I tried was, but it was awful. If you decide to check it again try the one I went to. It seems to be a lot easier. I guess some schools use it for their students now?
