Alba.

A friend's friend announced the name of their daughter as Alba (just so happens her SO's crush is Jessica Alba). She had asked some people on fb and they all liked it. My friend and I are unsure of our thoughts.

What do you think?

One of my daughters friends is from Brazil and that's her mom's name

It's not terrible, but not something I would pick.

Really? I didnt even know it was a real name...I guess it was more popular in the early 1900s

I like it. I would never use it, but I like it. First time I heard of it as a first name was on "the time traveler's wife" movie.
