Do you take any vitamins to help it? Maybe prenatal vitamins would help.

I have tried vitamins...Biotin, Prenatals, etc.

Midol really agrees with my body and helps when I am cramping...have you tried it?

Okay. I was just curious. I didn't get mine till 10 mos PP. I was gonna say that the hair falling out probably isn't related to the Paragard (if you got it at your 6 week check)

I had SEVERE hair shedding issues until I was about 8 months PP. And supposedly that's normal for post pregnancy.

I take prenatals now and it helps me. My hair is thicker now and it doesn't shed as much. Though my hair has always shed A TON.

I only have slightly heavier periods with bad cramping. My period before lasted 3 days and were very light, now they are 4-5 days with moderate bleeding and cramping. I have had it nearly 3 years and have experience no hair loss at all. In fact my hair is thicker and healthier than it was in the last few years with multiple pregnancies. I usually have absolutely zero effects from my paragard aside from longer cycles and slightly longer and heavier periods.

I have had some issues, just look at my last post. I do have to say that my issues are probably just because I am extremely sensitive to anything that is in my body, whether is medication or paragard. I have tried, the mini pill, ring, and patch and by far, paragard is my top pick. I do recommend it and if it wasn't for my health issues, I wouldn't be thinking of removing it.

And no, you don't need to use any protection from the beginning, it starts working immediately.

I had cramping in the beginning, like REALLY bad cramping but it has gotten better. I actually don't even get cramps most of the time, maybe a little discomfort on my heaviest day.

I was told to wait 1 week before having sex without condoms. Didn't get an explanation but I didn't plan on having sex within that week anyway.

I wasn't but I was on my period when I got it in, I wasn't planning on having sex either way.
