How old is she?
If it does go to court, you can try to get a pro bono lawyer or one that works exclusively with low income families and argue that she does not know who he is, he hasn't seen her in so long, and she needs to be with her mother (You can argue this due to age, breast feeding status, disabilities, etc, a lot of reasons).
More than likely under those circumstances, the judge will start him off with visitation, which you can ask be done supervised in a facility. They'll watch every move he makes with that child, AND take notes.

Uh no. Not okay. File for smurfing child support. You tell THEM what he did. It's total bullsmurf if CPS didn't do anything, but you can tell the courts that he did that, even a THOUGHT that he might be abusing your child would be enough to be supervised visits only.
When I filed for childsupport he didnt even show up to court so I got total custody and he got NO visitation orders what so ever. Sooo if you can make it so he doesnt get that letter in the mail for the court date... LOL

shes 3 not was 1 ant the time. I just know that if people do good with the supervised visits they can eventually turn into not being supervised if they do good. Unless hes a whole different person now he knows how to act. Ill give him that much. I knew him since I was 5 and never once did I think he would be capable of that.

Yes, it is very possible that if he does well at the supervised visitations, shows up, doesn't miss too many, and the notes are well, he could try to get unsupervised visitation or possibly partial custody. But from what I've seen, it's a some what lengthy process (I think they have to be good with supervised for around six months or longer?)
I'm really not sure what to tell you in that case...I mean, it's certainly possible that he's changed, but it's just as likely that he hasn't, and your daughter is something tough to gamble with.
I'm trying to think of any type of organization you could get help from that wouldn't require you to be in compliance with CSE. Have you tried food pantries, churches, out reach programs? I don't know if it's an option, but my friend goes to community college with me and is in a work-study program, gets paid 25 cents above minimum wage to pretty much sit there. Could you look into something like that?

Actually, and I'm so sorry to say it, but if it's court ordered, you'll be held in contempt of court and arrested if you don't comply.

I'm trying so hard to think, but it's just not going my way.
Have you tried section 8 housing or HUD? I know it's a government program, but I don't think you have to be in compliance with child support to get in. That'd take care of your housing.
Other than that, all I know to do is to hit up food pantries for food and try to get in touch with churches or out reach programs for some type of income or assistance with bills.
I could help you apply for FAFSA if you were interested in going to school. You'd get a refund check twice a year that's not much, but it's very helpful and you could join a work study program and have income.

That's all I can rack my brain for right now that doesn't require compliance. What all government assistance requires compliance in your area? Only certain ones require it in mine, is why I ask.
