  i'm trying to wean my son from BF on the boob during the day (PUMPING STILL) and cut down on night time feedings so i can get more hours at work, and i go thru this a lot until i finally cave cause i need sleep to work too...and truth be told I have totally been like smurf this smurf and made myself a drink instead! a nice captain and coke and some ear plugs and ten minutes of time to myself while he cried in his crib made me able to deal with it...finally i was able to just suck it up and rock him eventually one of us caves...i'd say 50/50 good luck!

I smoke, just out of cigs atm.

Did you wean him off the bottle with a slow transition to sippy, or cold turkey?
If you did a slow transition and he's just not digging the sippy, try praising him. Like, seriously freak out when he drinks out of the sippy "Oh wow, what a big boy! I can't believe how quick you're growing up!" etc. That usually helps my kid feel more comfortable with new things.

Slowly weaned. He's been using a sippy for awhile now, I don't know why he misses the bottle so must..

Hmm...Mkay, let me try to figure out this one lol.
Were bottles strictly formula/breast milk? Like, what all was given to him in a bottle vs. what is given to him in a sippy?
The thing that comes to mind is maybe he was getting something in a bottle that he's not getting in a sippy that he wants.

Formula.

He gets what he got in the bottle minus the formula. Water, juice and milk ..

Hmm...We started substituting formula with milk at a year old in his sippy cups with no problem.
Are you using the hard tipped sippy cups, or the soft tip? It actually can be a huge deal with certain kids.
