just keep in mind they're kinda stingy .. I sent in 30ish items, all the clothes were in like new condition, from places like children's place.. they gave me about 10 dollars. so it averaged out to be about 35 cents per item 
when buying clothes, thredup is a good place to get a good deal on stuff ... but when it comes to selling, yeahh no. from my experience, you're better off putting your stuff on ebay
