Yes because it makes me understand it even less. Before having kids it was terrible and senseless but I couldn't really empathize because I didn't know that type of emotional bond. I felt bad for the mother, couldn't imagine her pain but now having my own children I CAN imagine the pain of losing ones child. I can't help but put myself in their shoes and think of how I would feel if I lost my child.

I do! I feel the same as some of the other momma's, when I hear of terrible things happening to children it makes me wonder how I could even handle a situation like that if it were me. (let alone how the families actually in those situations handle it) My son is my everything.
Blah, this makes me emotional just thinking about it. :/

Oh god yes. I mean I was always sensitive about hearing sad things regarding children beforehand but now I'm liable to tear up or even cry. Just thinking about some of these things I hear about happening to my son and how he would feel in that situation makes me so sad. I recently heard about a toddler who wandered off and died in the cold and it made me think, "What if that was Jameson? What would he have been thinking? He would have been so scared!"
