re: Big baby

Dd1 was like that but at 6 months. She was too long but fit but fine for weight. Looking back i should've kept her in the infant seat regardless bc until she "grew" into the next seat it was awkward and I sat in the back seat w her just in case.

Stroller or buy ur own cart cover

Quoting Brandi Lynn White:" That is a great idea can you still use the seat belt though he is a wiggle worm lol"
Depending on how long the belt is im sure you could.
You can also still use the infant seat just not in the car.

I got it on Etsy. Came with a matching pillow and everything. Plus 10% off if you like her on facebook. http://www.etsy.com/listing/109821745/shopping-cart-cover-for-boy-or-girl?

Quoting Brandi Lynn White:" He is to long for the car seat already almost 27 inches and the car seat limit is 26. I have a cart cover ... [snip!] ... I have a twisted spine and scoliosis which hurts my back alot and shoulder osteoarthritis it is really hard to use a carrier."

If there are straps he can use the cover.

Its height and weight. Most kids will outgrow a seat by height way before weight. My infant seat went up to 30 inches and 30lbs.

I just read the side of the carseat today and that is what it says so I switched, I love him being in the carrier one but it does get heavy carrying him too. Not the reason I switched to stop anyone from saying that in advance

My son was 9.13, but got down to 9.5 before leaving the hospital! He was also 22 inches long. Did you have to have a c-section?

Nope but he got stuck bad, they were getting ready to push his head back in and run for a C-section. Thankfully the doctor stayed calm and was able to pull his arm out and get it unstuck. He came out with a decreased heart rate but is very healthy now, just a big baby.
