Haha I'm from NW Ohio. It always kills me when Ohio has level 3 snow emergencies where you aren't allowed to drive and it's conditions where if it were here, nobody would even think twice about going out.

I think it's normal for this time of year but it's really the first time it's snowed all winter (at least here). It was the first time I didn't have a white Christmas  

We got about a inch of sleet here and they just posted that the state cops had 578 calls for service today and over 400 of those were wrecks. It's so crazy.

Also, I lied. I came out for a smoke. And it is snowing. But just light, cute, fluffy snow.

Ugh I'm in Michigan too. It's been snowing nonstop since I woke up. I'm not leaving the house until they plow.

We are in the Holland area and getting hit pretty hard. DH has a canvas carport and about 20 minutes ago it caved in from the weight of the snow. He will wish he had listened to me when he gets home from work in a couple hours. Gotta love the lake effect snow.

Yes! But we are used to it. People slow down to about 70 on the highway here.

Yes it does lol. I was watching news 8 last night and looks like lake effect all next week.

Yeah we had this AWFUL blizzard (we ended up without power overnight   ) Then it got really warm, it was like freaking FORTY degrees   now our snow is all gone lol I am fine with this.

It's been snowing here all day, I live by Port Huron so we get the lake effect. I'm so used to it, the snow no longer bothers me. Glad it is the weekend though, I can avoid the idiots who forget how to drive.
