I want to establish a friendship with my SIL

I really like her and we have a lot of interests in common but I always feel like I might be bugging her when I text her so I don't know what to do.

Were both pregnant and due in July too and I think that's cool lol.
I was so excited when they told us I faux pas'd and blurted out that I'm pregnant and I feel bad because it was their time to do the surprising and such. I don't know how to fix that either so I haven't really tried to text her recently.

Have a lunch together, or go window shopping.

I would text her and say "hey sorry if I stole you're thunder a little bit with the pregnancy announcement but I am just so excited we'll be pregnant together and our kids will get to grow up with a cousin so close in age!" Then set something up

It took a while for my sil and I to develop a friendship. We probably didn't really get close until the past year, and I've been in the family for 6.

But now we are really close and talk every day lol.

Really dont see why not. @ 2nd Think that she would be happy to be friends, everyone is different. For instance I am shy till open up with that person. Once open up, I cant shut up! lol

I would go with this. Then at the end throw in something like would you like to go to lunch..go baby shopping ect.

That is a good idea, but its been a really long time now like maybe even a month since then.

Also it is hard for us to meet up because I don't drive and I wouldn't want to be like hey lets hang out but you gotta come get me.

Aw that sucks. Maybe just ask her how she's been feeling? And then work your way up to all that. I mean you're both pregnant so that's definitely common ground!
