When my oldest was born, they gave him formula over night for his low blood sugar and it was fine by morning, maybe that will be worth asking them about if the donor milk still isn't helping?

She does not want her child having any formula.

This. And I just spent a ton on this donor Milk haha. Her levels are good it's just my milk has to come in more because her body isn't regulating her sugar so it's all up to my milk to do the work. My milk is Milkies today not colostrum anymore. But it doesn't pump a lot   probably because my body is too efficient? I hope to be engorged soon haha. I'll be sad if my supply regulates so soon. But she gets a lot when she nurses she just falls asleep easily. But I have to get her off the feeding tube. She can use the SNS for extra but she can't have the ng tube. So that's what te Lc is helping me with tonight. Last night the goal was to get her off iv sugar which we did this morn. And now it's getting her off the ng tube.

As long as I stay on my pain meds Im good!! I'm walking back and forth to the nicu at least every 3rd hour. So it helps. I was able to shower today which felt amazing. But it was hard haha.

I felt amazing after my shower. That was my first question while DD was being washed and they were taking care of me.

BUT I'm SO happy for you. Congrats!!!

I threw a fit last night and they agreed to let me ebf her. The deal was if her sugar was over 50 they'd leave it. If not they'd give her my pumped milk or donor milk. We made it through all the feedings (with little sleep for mama) and it paid off!!! My milk is finally keeping her full and her sugar levels up. She got together off all monitors around noon and now were lounging til tinoorow when they discharge us!!!! Yay! Lylians coming out tonight to see Scarlytt finally   she's so excited!!!!
