Should i go?

posted 25th Jan
Been having contractions off and on since 7am. They started again at 3:30, 5 minutes apart..going on an hour since they've been 2-3 minutes apart. They are uncomfortable but not really getting worse. I can walk and talk through them. Should I wait another hour or go in now? Called my doctor but she hasn't called back and I'm 38 weeks..not sure how much dilated or effaced (last Saturday was 3 & 70%), but baby's position is 0 station. My cervix was posterior so the doctor couldn't get to the opening yesterday.

No. My water didn't break until I was 10cm with my last PG though. I have had 2 BMs and a ton of discharge in the last hour.

Yeh I'd go in to be on the safe side! Take your bag with ya! Worse they can do is send you home but if you were that dilated a week ago it's gotta be close to time!

The doctor yesterday said she didn't think I'd make it through the weekend.   Better safe than sorry though.

Exactly   I'd rather be in the hospital or clinic when time came as opposed to rushing in the car while in labor honestly ;)

Definitely sounds like you should get checked. 3cm last week and having regular contractions now? I am sure you are making some progress. Good luck mama! Keep us updated!

The L&D nurse said that I was way too calm and to come back when I can't stand it any more or bleeding. I'm only 10 minutes away.

Two minutes apart and have been pretty bad for a couple of hours. She still won't hook me up to monitors or check me.

She won't even hook you up to any monitors? That's BULLSmurf.
You need to turn into a bit of a bitch for a couple minutes and tell her to do her damn job. Freak out if you need to. Obviously that's the only thing that's gonna get her attention.
