sons father movinginto moldy apartment!!!

What can I do?? I don't want my son in there! The landlords paint over the black mold with white paint, if you pick the paint at the baseboards you can see it. I know multiple people who have lived there and had to be hospitalized due to breathing issues.. What can I do to prove that theres mold so that my son wont be able to go there?!

Could any of the people you know who have lived there and gotten sick write an affidavit?

Maybe!! I could ask!

i know you dont want your son there esp. if past residents have gotten sick from it. but tilex works great with removing black mold in certain areas. but if you can get actual statements and proof people have gotten sick due to the living conditions in the past then you could possibly bring that to a judge

You can call your local permit and inspection office. A house or apartment can be condemned due to black mold. Nasty stuff.
