Brownish discharge?

posted 25th Jan
Ok I'm 10 weeks prego and have been haveing mild brown discharge with mild cramping, I had the cramping with my first but not the discharge.
Is this normal or should I worry, I don't have a dr. yet casue I'm waiting on the medacaid to get approved and I can't afford to go to the dr. unless its a must have.

I get brown discharge the day after i get a pelvic exam. my doctor said that it is old blood and that it is normal! If you are having cramping along with red blood then there could be a problem. As long as the discharge is not bright red you should be ok! Good luck!

Have you had sex recently? Sex can irritate the cervix and cause spotting. For some women, it's normal. However, all 3 of my miscarriages started with brown spotting. Just keep an eye on it for now.

At 10 weeks? Implantation occurs before a BFP can even be detected.

humm.. this is a deficult one. i have had bleeds with 2 pregnancys. my brown spotting after 2 weeks turned out in a loss of my unborn, and the pregnancy after that was a heavy red bleed which resulted in a healthy pregnancy (it turned out i had cervical erosion) so basicaly its just a waiting game to see what happens, and just so you know... it can be ok to bleed.. best thing to do it not worry however hard that is
i wish you the best of luck. x x
