Sister Miscarried

So just 2 days ago my sister ended up having a miscarriage. This was her 5th miscarriage in less than 2years. I feel so bad for her. We were both pregnant and our due dates were 2days apart from each other. Now i am pregnant and she isn't. I had just posted the weekly updates on my FB page, and now i am thinking about canceling it, so that it doesn't remind her of how far along she should have been. I dont know how to deal with it, because i have never dealt with a miscarriage.

Any advice.

Only talk about it if she wants to... I have had 5 but in like a 4 year period. You are a good person for taking down the reminder. Even though she will never say it, it will hurt to see others pregnant. I am sorry for her loss, but with good people like you in her life she will get through.

Thanks. The doctors said that she has something wrong with her blood. I think RH- and needs to get a shot, but whenever it gets time to get the shot she miscarries. Obviously she doesn't have a problem getting pregnant but cant seem to make it past 9weeks. And before when she miscarried her 1st and 2nd pregnancy i was thinking that maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Because my sister has made come not so great choices but is really trying to turn her life around. Now i am really worried about her and her health.

This one is tricky. Ordinarily I would say don't hide things from her but with your due dates having been so close, things like Baby Gaga updates would be really painful to see. Plus with her being your sister it's like she can hide all your updates. I think she can choose to hide the BG updates from her newsfeed though.

It does it automaticly.

I would quit the weekly gaga updates for a sister or close friend. and as for the rest of your friends or family, do a monthly or bi weekly personal update. or mention how far along you are in normal posts.

Have they done a full work up to make sure it isn't anything else? Like low progesterone or a possible blood clotting disorder?

I asked her, and she said that the doctor said that she is healthy. I told her to get a second opinion. Because something doesn't sound right.
